The EU Whistleblowing Directive, formally known as Directive (EU) 2019/1937, transposed by Legislative Decree 24/2023, is a legal act issued by the EU with the aim of enhancing the protection of whistleblowers in all its Member States. Adopted on October 23, 2019, the directive aims to create a safe and uniform environment where individuals can report violations.
